Once again, Cathy receives a very unusual gift from her dad for her tenth birthday: an egg. When a duckling comes out of the egg in the presence of her friend Margaux, he immediately recognizes her as his mother! But Margaux is not fit to handle a baby duck and her parents want to get rid of it. Both girls are resolute to save their palmiped friend and embark on a fantastic journey where they will learn a lot about self-discovery.

Charlotte is a sound engineer. Her mother is murdered in her house in the countryside. Once there, Charlotte realizes that she doesn’t know much about her mother’s life in the village. The official investigation isn’t going anywhere, and the place seems full of secrets. Charlotte decides to take action. She uses her sound equipment to carry out her own investigation. While listening to a recording just made in the house where the murder took place, Charlotte discovers a strange phenomenon : sounds from the past blend in with sounds from the present.

In 1931, just before the Spanish Civil War, a group of children are locked away in an institution. The children cannot feel pain and, with the help of a German doctor, they’re placed in experiments to help them understand suffering. In the present day, David, a brilliant neurosurgeon, is involved in a car accident which reveals that he is suffering from lymphoma. His only treatment is a bone marrow transplant from his parents, but when he asks them for help, he finds a mysterious connection between himself and the institutionalized children from 1931.

17 year-old Sangaile is fascinated by stunt planes. Afraid of heights, she has never dared to even enter in one of the cockpits. At a summer aeronautical show, nearby her parents’ lakeside villa, she meets Auste, a local girl of her age, who unlike Sangaile, lives her life to the full with creativity and dare. As the two girls become lovers, Sangaile allows Auste to discover her most intimate secret, and finds in her teenage love the only person to truly encourage her in flying.
